This website offers visitors information regarding Hawkes Haven Mobile Pet Services and all that we at Hawkes Haven have to offer. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Hawkes Haven - Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any services with Hawkes Haven Mobile Pet Services. By scheduling an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following terms:
1. Services Provided
Hawkes Haven Mobile Pet Services offers mobile pet care including (but not limited to) Dog walking for exercise and mental stimulation; Pet feeding and water refills as instructed by the owner; Potty breaks for pets whose owners are away or unable to leave home; Playtime and enrichment to support behavioral health; Basic medication administration (oral/topical/injection, as prescribed by a veterinarian); Pet wellness checks to report observable concerns (no diagnosis or treatment); All services are provided by trained volunteers and staff certified in animal CPR and first aid.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services for any pet that poses a safety risk to our team or itself.
2. Appointments & Access
Clients must ensure timely access to their home or pet on the day of service. If we cannot reach the pet due to a locked gate, inaccessible entry, or absent pet, the visit may be marked as a "no-show" and billed accordingly.

Please let us know if there are any security cameras (exterior and/or interior) for the safety of your pet and ourselves. Also, please let us know if anyone else would be accessing the dwelling at the time of the sit.
3. Health & Behavior
By using our services, you confirm your pet:

Is up to date on required vaccinations

Is not aggressive or dangerous to others

Is not contagious or suffering from any known illness that may put other pets at risk
We reserve the right to stop services and contact the owner if the pet displays aggressive or dangerous behavior.
4. Cancellations & No-Shows
Refer to our full Cancellation Policy for details. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a fee of up to 100% of the service price.
5. Emergencies & Veterinary Care
In the event of a medical emergency, we will contact the owner immediately. If unreachable, we reserve the right to transport the pet to the nearest veterinary clinic and authorize care on the owner's behalf. The client is responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred.
6. Weather Conditions
In extreme weather (heatwaves, heavy snow, lightning, etc.), Hawkes Haven may shorten outdoor services for the pet’s and employees safety.
7. Payments
Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements are made. Payments will be made through Time to Pet. *Late payments may incur a late fee after 7 days*
8. Photos & Social Media
We may take photos of pets during services for documentation or promotion (never in private spaces). If you do not want your pet's image used on social media, please let us know in writing.
9. Liability
While we make every effort to ensure your pet's well-being, Hawkes Haven Mobile Pet Services shall not be held liable for:

Injury, illness, or death due to pre-existing conditions or age-related factors

Damage to property caused by pets during our visit

Unforeseen accidents despite reasonable care
10. Privacy
All client and pet information is kept confidential and used only for the purpose of providing services.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of major changes.
